I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel safe to be themselves without fear of judgment or pressure of having everything figured out. My goal is to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together toward the life you want to build.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand View University and I am a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (t-LMHC). I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties. My experience also includes supporting clients involved with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), probation and parole, and other community agencies, giving me an understanding of the unique challenges that can come with navigating multiple systems.

My approach is collaborative and person-centered because I believe you are the expert on your own life. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care to tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals.

I know starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I don’t take the trust my clients place in me lightly. Whether you’re facing a difficult season in life, healing from past experiences, or simply hoping to better understand yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and authenticity.

Outside of the office, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog. It would be an honor to be a part of your healing journey.

You don't have to have it figured out to move forward
