Allie Hittner is a Temp.-Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her Master’s degree from the University of Iowa and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with minors in Mental Health and Family Studies, from the University of Northern Iowa.

Allie is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming environment where clients can feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges. She understands that life can feel overwhelming at times and believes that everyone deserves a space where they can slow down, process their experiences, and feel genuinely heard and understood.

She approaches therapy with the belief that each individual has the innate capacity for growth and healing. Allie works collaboratively with her clients to help them identify their strengths, build upon them, and develop practical tools they can carry into their everyday lives. She values fostering a sense of empowerment and helping clients feel more confident in their ability to navigate difficult emotions and situations.

Allie incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strength-based interventions, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.

Outside of her work, Allie enjoys spending time at the lake, practicing yoga, exploring local coffee shops, watching sports, and connecting with friends and family.
