*MARIAH IS ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!*

Mariah is a temporary-licensed mental health counselor. She graduated from Colorado Christian University with a degree in psychology and an emphasis on clinical counseling. She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Mental HealthCounseling from Grand View University in Des Moines.

She has seven years of experience working in the medical field and three years of experience working in mental health at Broadlawns Medical center, where she learned the importance of therapy and the healing process. She practices from a CBT and person-centered lens. Mariah aims to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for adults to work through their traumas and challenges of all varieties. She utilizes collaboration to support clients while empowering them to live more fulfilling lives. Mariah’s focuses on using an empathetic approach to guide self-exploration and personal growth for every client.

When she’s not at Healing Rock, she can be found reading, camping, hiking, and enjoying the great outdoors.
