Lindsay is a Licensed Master Social worker. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology with a concentration in social work from Simpson College and her master’s degree in social work from Walden University.

Lindsay brings over thirteen years of experience working with youth and families in mental health and school-based settings. Lindsay has worked closely with adolescents and families, gaining a deep understanding of the ways individual experiences and family dynamics influence mental health. For the past three years, she has worked as a Family Therapist, partnering with youth, and families facing complex emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.

Lindsay’s therapeutic approach is grounded in CBT and informed by a systems perspective. She has received specialized training in Internal Family Systems, Functional Family Therapy, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention. Lindsay helps clients understand how different parts of a person’s life and relationships are connected, helping clients see how these dynamics influence one another. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to collaborate, heal, and strengthen relationships.

Outside her work at Healing Rock, Lindsay enjoys attending her children’s sporting events, cheering on the Hawkeyes, and vacationing at the lake.
